GCP is the leading facilitator of the coffee sector’s journey towards sustainability. The GCP Membership Assembly is your chance to meet other members and shape the direction the GCP takes to tackle key challenges.
The Global Coffee Platform offers members from the Producer or Civil Society Stakeholder Groups (located in producing countries) the chance to receive a Travel & Accommodation Subsidy.
The subsidy covers a contribution towards travel and accommodation costs of up to €1000 per member. As the number is subsidies available is limited, if you are interested we recommend that you register and apply early.
To apply for a Travel & Accommodation Subsidy, please read the Travel & Accommodation Subsidy Policy and fill out the application form by 1st September, 2017.
1/3 of GCP’s Board seats will be elected during the Membership Assembly on 5th October.
GCP Members will also vote on a range of items that influence the future direction and priorities of the GCP.

A recap and discussion on the progress made in the coffee sector in 2016.
The road to 2020 is one that all stakeholders in the coffee sector need to take together. This session aims to align the expansive and diverse group of stakeholders who make up the GCP Membership on what sucess looks like and how we can work together to achieve a thriving and sustainable coffee world. A vote of approval will take place on the goals for 2020, the business model and the Annual Plan for 2018.
In the previous day, Conference participants gained an understanding of the power behind Country Platforms to create real and long-lasting change in the future of national coffee sectors. In this session, GCP Members will gain exclusive access to how they can multiply their sustainability efforts through collective impact at a local level.
A chance to take a closer look at some of the innovative tools the GCP is creating to support its members in reaching their potential – GCP Baseline, GCP Progress and GCP Connect.
The GCP Membership Assembly will take a moment to acknowledge and thank the outgoing Board Members for their hard work and dedication to driving the GCP and its activities forward. After a vote of approval of amended Statures, the Membership Assembly will also have the chance to hear from the nominated candidates and to cast their vote on who will join the GCP Board.
Let’s take stock of where we are at and how the last 1.5 days have accelerated our collective efforts and together, return to our respective companies and organizations equipped to push the needle on sustainability in the right direction!
